Sandy Melton ~ Marshall, NC

Nowhere Branch Angora's

Yes, there truly is a place named Nowhere Branch. My neighbor, Alice, tells me stories of growing up here, when this mountain land was tilled and planted in tobacco and corn, using teams of mules, of course. Too steep for a tractor, (and we know nothing about breaking in a good mule) it sure makes good goat country!

Come visit! And meet the animals that produced this lovely fiber. Upon your return you can tell your friends you have been to Nowhere, and back. We are 25 miles north of Asheville, NC, between Mars Hill and Marshall. Email for directions. New! Visit our hat gallery!
